PRI focuses on restoring balance to our asymmetrical bodies that have become poorly patterned and out of position over time. The program addresses biomechanical breakdowns and corrects muscle and joint compensations in order to provide clients with long-term pain relief. Passive and active movements are assessed while walking, standing, sitting and lying down. These measurements and assessments are then compared with normal ranges to determine a suitable corrective exercise repositioning/retraining routine. These progressive exercises will gently guide your body back into a more manageable and appropriate alignment. Exercises are regularly performed at home and progress is reassessed at each session to adapt as your body progresses.
The FMS screening is designed to document movement patterns that are integral to normal function. Detecting these patterns readily identifies functional limitations and asymmetries which can distort body awareness and increase risk of injuries.
